The Fanta family has been providing insurance coverage from leading insurance companies in Jackson County since 1987. Originally joining Don Myers on Main Street with a strong “Independent Agency” and Westfield Insurance Group brand, the Fanta’s began adding customer choices and merged with the Landfried Insurance Agency at 506 S. Church Street in 1995.

Their involvement in the insurance industry led to a friendship and business affiliation with John and Joanne Landfried. The Landfried’s offered several high quality options for insurance including Allstate and Celina Group. They were active in the Ripley business community and also supported civic needs in other ways. The community remembers John Landfried as the past WV Fire Marshall and Joanne as a retired French teacher and Pilot Club officer. The Fantas and their associates have continued to reach out to the local community as they support literacy projects, secondary school sports, 4-H and FFA.
